Prince Goodluck Obi is the founder and President of Global Alert for Defence of Youth and the Less Privileged, and the President of a Youth network known as United Nations of Youth Network Nigeria.Through the track record of Prince Obi both NGOs had Observer Status with UNFCCC and Special Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC. Prince Obi through his NGO GADYLP had empowered the Less Privileged, the handicapped, the 
Orphans, Vulnerable Children, the poorest of the Poor by providing periodic provisions/paying school fees for the Orphans and indigent citizens. He had initiated regular tree planting among the youths as a means of reducing the effect of Climate Change.

He formed UNOY and GADYLP Green Clubs which plant and nurture the trees.He formed and sustained Climate Change Clubs in Primary and Secondary Schools in Lagos, Owerri, etc. The members of this club plant trees periodically and step down the training on the importance of tree as they were taught by Prince Obi and his working team.



Prince Good luck Obi had his first Degree B.A.(Hons) from the first University in Nigeria, the University of Ibadan, and his Masters Degree which is in view on Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. Prince Obi has been a Speaker in the following fields at one time or the other Thus: Child's Rights and the Refugees, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Social Work, Volunteerism, Youth Development, HIV/AIDS, Public Health among others.

Through his hard work, he had three Honors Award during his National Youth Service Corps in Kwara State, North Central of Nigeria. One of these Awards was the MOST OUTSTANDING CORPS MEMBER. Through the track record of the NGO he founded(GADYLP)on Volunteerism,he was nominated by United Nations Volunteers Office in,Germany to coordinate the UN International Year of Volunteers in Nigeria. IYV 2001. After the official inauguration of IYV 2001 in Nigeria, he was elected as the Focal Point of 
IYV 2001 in Imo State. Imo State is one of the 36 States of Nigeria. He had 
worked in Civil Society as a Project Coordinator/Manager, Executive Director, President,
Head of Organization etc at various times for over twenty Years of devoted services to humanity.Prince Obi. was sponsored by the UN as a delegate from Nigeria to the Review Conference on Racism,racial discrimination, Xenophobia and related intolerance in April 2009,UN Office,in Geneva, Switzerland.He is a seasoned speaker in various fields of human endeavor not limited to Human Rights,Social Justice,Good governance,Youth Development etc. 

He is the Designated Contact Person of UNOY in UNFCCC. He was a Speaker and Moderator in COP 18, Qatar in 2012, COP 19, Warsaw, Poland, UN Climate Change Conference, June 2014(SD40) Prince Obi had granted many national, regional and international interviews on various fields of human endeavor. Prince Obi was a Speaker to the 2013 international Day in memory of the victims of the Holocaust organized by United Nations Information Center, Nigeria. This year, June 13th, 2014, in Bonn, Germany, Prince Obi was a Speaker to a Side Event organized by GADYLP and Brama Kumaris during the UN Conference on Climate Change (SB40). It is pertinent to mention here that the Executive Secretary of UNFCCC, Ms Christiana Figuress attended as a Special Guest. 

Prince Goodluck Obi was a Speaker to the 2014 Nelson Mandela Day Celebration in Nigeria, May 18th, 2014, at University of Lagos, Nigeria. Prince Goodluck Obi was the Head of UNOY Delegation to the 65th UN DPI/NGO Conference in UN Headquarters in N.Y, USA,Aug. 26th to 28th, 2014. He was a delegate to the World Summit of Love and Peace organized by the Federation of World Peace and Love on 28th Aug.2014 in USA. He had traveled extensively to over 30 countries in the course of his Humanitarian cum development Services either as a speaker, facilitator, panelist etc. Some of these countries are Canada, USA, Germany, Kenya, Morocco, South Africa, Qatar, Jordan, Turkey, Switzerland, Tunisia, France, India, Ethiopia, Denmark, Ghana, Benin Republic, Togo, Sweden, Poland, UAE etc.
